Description
A printed paperboard box, containing a clear, heat sealed sachet filled with Chilli flakes. Chopped and dried chillies, with the most intense heat and flavour. For those who can handle the heat, these flakes should be added to any curry for a boost of heat. Stir a few flakes through your pilau or basmati rice for a bit of colour and flavour. Chilli con carne will be incomplete without this essential ingredient. Add to seafood pasta dishes, or tomato based sauces, but use sparingly. Half a teaspoon of these flakes would add the same heat as 1 fresh chilli. For homemade chilli oil, add 250ml of olive oil and 5ml of chilli flakes to a suacepan and gently warm the oil. Switch off and transfer into a sterilised jar. The heat will intensify as it matures. A blend of flavoursome flakes & fiery seeds.
